Gala menu Lakeland is above all to the mind of a fish lover. A sauce made from mushrooms from nearby forests has been chosen as a friend of the main course pike perch.
Cranberries, lingonberries, blueberries, lacquers and mushrooms from nearby forests are collected by individual operators. They are used to make juices, mulled wine and various preserves such as marmalades.
This menu is for fish lovers choice for the most festive moments. Main course pike perch is caught from Keurusselkä and it will be delivered directly to Apaja by a fisherman. Mushrooms are picked up from Central Finland forests, in most cases by our own kitchen staff. Cold smoked salmon comes from Rossin kalas salmon.
