Riihi

Built in 1837 in Sumiainen, Riihi carries stories within its walls. Solid wooden tables, authentic log flooring and a timeless atmosphere take you back in time. The venue includes a charming porch and a private wine room.

METSÄ-Kabinetti

An elegant and intimate space where materials speak for themselves. A stunning glass wall combined with warm wood creates a harmonious setting, with beautiful views over Lake Päijänne.

Torppa Saunas

Two historic sauna buildings transported from Kangasniemi, carrying 169 years of history. Two saunas, two lakeside jacuzzis and a private courtyard. The ultimate Finnish sauna experience in Jyväskylä.

Savotta sauna

Built in the spirit of a traditional smoke sauna, Savotta Sauna heats with electricity for a consistently gentle steam. Swim in Lake Päijänne in summer or take a refreshing dip in the ice hole in winter. Two separately bookable lakeside jacuzzis on the terrace.

Smoke sauna

An authentic, traditional smoke sauna heated for 5–6 hours with hardwood logs. The steam is deep, soft and unlike anything else. No showers, no hurry. Just the ancient ritual of the Finnish smoke sauna on the shores of Lake Päijänne. Always booked together with Savotta Sauna.

Log Boats

Built in 1937 to transport timber, these historic barges are now one of the most unique outdoor event venues in the Jyväskylä region. Right on the shore of Lake Päijänne, perfect for weddings, outdoor dining and corporate events.

M/S Apaja

Savutuvan Apaja’s own passenger boat cruises Lake Päijänne on request. The experience begins on the water as guests board at Jyväskylä harbour and arrive directly at Apaja’s own jetty. Perfect for transfers, themed cruises and team days.

The Courtyard

Located on the nature-protected island of Haapasaari on Lake Päijänne, Savutuvan Apaja’s courtyard is a living museum in the heart of Central Finland. Over 30 historic farmhouse buildings, all relocated from across Central Finland, with an average age of over 150 years. A unique setting, all year round.
