Welcome to enjoy the scenery of Lake Päijänne, delicious local food and excellent drinks!
You can get to us by cruising via M/S Apaja, by boating, by motorcycle, by bus or, for example, on a bike tour on vacation. Summer storms and rains don't bother us, because there is a lot of indoor space in Log Boat restaurant hall in connection with the terrace. Please note that the larger pier is reserved for M/S Apaja's cruise transports.

The kitchen closes every night at 21:00.
Please note that outside the opening hours of the terrace, we work as a private restaurant and we have reserved the entire area for private events.

M/S Apaja
The atmospheric M/S Apaja transports passengers from Jyväskylä harbor to Savutuvan Apaja and back on terrace days. We recommend purchasing your ticket in advance.

14 € | 1 ticket | one-way, including Liveto’s online service fee

Tickets can also be purchased directly on the boat, provided it is not sold out through the online store. In this case, boarding will be on a first-come, first-served basis.

Please note that unfortunately, dogs are not allowed on the cruise, although well-behaved dogs are welcome on the terrace.
Wednesday Saunas on July 10th and 17th, 2024
During the opening hours of the lakeside terrace, you can also enjoy a relaxing visit to the Savotta sauna, take in the views of Lake Päijänne from the outdoor jacuzzis, and cool off with a dip in the lake.
The saunas will be warm on Wednesday, July 10th and 17th from 16:00 to 20:00.
Ticket price is 20 e | 2 hours.
Tickets can be purchased at the Lakeside Terrace bar.
Please bring your own swimsuit and towel.
Rental towels are available for 3 e | each.
Please note that the sauna and shower facilities are shared by both women and men. Separate changing rooms are provided for women and men.
Our entire area is a licenced drinking area, possession and consumption of your own drinks in the area is prohibited. Sauna drinks can be purchased from the Rantaterassi bar.
