The Autumn Harvest hides the best Finnish ingredients of the harvest season. During the summer, this varied and colorful menu is crowned at its best with herbs from our own yard.
In Apaja's own garden, we grow herbs and vegetables to flavor our food and drinks. During the summer and early autumn, we utilize Apaja's own harvest as part of the menus. In our garden we grow peas, cucumbers, cherry tomatoes and strawberries, among other things. Apples, rhubarb and spruce are also available for freezing and preservation in winter.
This menus main course pig is coming from local Pohjoisaho Farm, Laukaa. Farm has produced high-quality pork already from 1988.This menu is based on best of Finnish season veggies and roots.
